School officials name new Lincoln Elementary principal

JACKSON, Tenn. — Students and staff at Lincoln Elementary will welcome a new principal at the start of their next school year.

Ladonna Braswell will serve as the school’s new principal beginning in the 2016-2017 school year, according to a release from the Jackson-Madison County School System.

Superintendent Verna Ruffin made the announcement Wednesday morning.

Braswell currently serves at the assistant principal at Pope Elementary.

She has been with the school system since July 2015 and has previously worked in the Shelby County School System.
