30-Year-Old Accused of Having Sex with a Minor
JACKSON, Tenn. – A Jackson man was arrested after he was accused of having sexual relations with a minor. According to Jackson police, Jesten Knox, 30, is charged with aggravated statutory rape. He turned himself in early Monday morning. Investigators said that the teen‘s mother called police on April 21 after she learned about the alleged incident. Police believe that Knox picked up a 17-year-old girl on March 26 from her home and took her to his home on Landmark Loop. He then allegedly performed a sex act on the teen. Police said that Knox was a friend of the girl‘s family. Knox was arraigned on the charge Monday and released from the Madison County Jail on $15,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to court on June 27. Police notified the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services about the case.
