Hundreds pack the Farmers Market for “A Taste of Jackson and West Tennessee”

JACKSON, Tenn.- Downtown Jackson was the hot spot Thursday night for sampling some of Jackson and West Tennessee’s finest food.

Hundreds came out to the Farmers Market for the 30th annual “A Taste of Jackson and West Tennessee” to benefit the March of Dimes.
Attendees paid to sample food from more than 20 area restaurants and eateries.
Leaders with the March of Dimes said this yearly event is one of their largest fundraisers.

“This one, not only does it bring the community together, but it raises the most money, our goal this year is $35,000, which is a huge amount that goes to the March of Dimes, to the local March of Dimes chapter,” said Molly Richardson, chairperson for “A Taste of Jackson and West Tennessee.

The March of Dimes helps educate mothers of children born prematurely or with birth defects.
