Nationwide walk to support Veterans travels to Hub City

JACKSON,Tenn.–A walk honoring American Heroes stopped in the Hub City Sunday.

Carry The Load is a national campaign to restore the true meaning behind the Memorial Day holiday.

Participants started in Downtown Jackson, walking to Lana and ending their journey at the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus.

The month long trek started May first in New York. The walk covers 6,600 miles across the country in 33 days.

Carry The Load walkers plan to arrive in Dallas the Sunday before Memorial Day.
