Perry Co. Man Indicted for Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

PERRY COUNTY, Tenn. – A Perry County man was arrested on a charges of sexual exploitation of a minor, Tuesday. According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Adam Douglas Sanders, 35, of Linden, was indicted on five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. Officials stated that Sanders is a Perry County Commissioner. The TBI stated that, in September 2012, the 21st Judicial District Attorney General requested TBI investigate allegations that Sanders had obtained nude photos of a minor female. Investigators believe that, in May of 2012, Sanders made contact with a female juvenile and paid her money and gave her gifts in exchange for nude photos of herself. Sanders was booked into the Perry County Jail Tuesday morning on a $100,000 bond.
