Herb Parsons Lake in Fayette Co. closed due to storm damage
FAYETTE COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency announces the closure of a West Tennessee lake.

According to the TWRA, Herb Parsons Lake in Fayette County received significant damage from straight line winds on Sunday.
TWRA says the area has broken utility poles, downed electrical lines, several downed trees, and structural damage to a building.
The TWRA says due to the dangerous environment, the lake will be closed to visitation until further notice. Repairs to the area are expected to take several months.
