2016 OVC Baseball Championship returns to Jackson this week

JACKSON, Tenn. — The 2016 Ohio Valley Conference Baseball Championship will take place this week in Jackson.

The tournament will be held from Wednesday through Sunday at the Jackson Generals Ballpark, according to a release from the Jackson Convention and Visitors Bureau.

This makes seven years in a row the event will take place at the home of the Jackson Generals, the AA-affiliate of the Seattle Mariners.

Tickets for the event will be $10 per day or $28 for an all-session pass (up to 11 total games), according to the release. There is also an $8 a day rate (or $25 for an all-tournament pass) for students/faculty of OVC-member schools (with valid ID) or for groups. All seats at the 6,000-seat park are general admission for the OVC Championship.
