Crews close Jackson streets Thursday and Friday for maintenance

JACKSON, Tenn. — The City of Jackson’s Engineering Department has announced several temporary road closures Thursday and Friday for crews to conduct maintenance work.

Two lanes of Westwood Avenue from Campbell Street to Park Avenue will be temporarily closed Thursday until 5 p.m. for sewer maintenance.

Two lanes of Hollywood Drive from Forest Avenue to 1408 Hollywood Drive will be temporarily closed Thursday until 5 p.m. for crews to replace a sewer.

Two lanes of of Walker Road, about 400 feet north of Union University Drive to approximately 1,300 feet south of Oil Well Road, will be temporarily closed Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The lanes will be closed to through traffic to allow crews to resurface the street.
