JFD respond to house fire in North Jackson
JACKSON, Tenn.– A home is damaged in a Sunday night fire.
Jackson Firefighters responded to the home on Countryside Drive shortly before 10 p.m. JFD said the home has substantial damage from flames, smoke and water.
Investigators are unsure if the house is a total loss at this point.
A single mother was home at the time when she heard a smoke detector going off, according to the batallion chief on scene.
No children were home at the time of the fire. Investigators were called to the home Sunday night, but say it’s unclear what may have started the fire.
