Joint effort leads to the seizure of fentanyl

CHESTER COUNTY, Tenn. — A joint effort by West Tennessee law enforcement resulted in the seizure of  fentanyl.

The 26th Judicial District Drug Task Force says that early in the morning on Wednesday, July 12, they seized nearly 1,300 Fentanyl pills, various other illegal narcotics, and firearms during the execution of an search warrant in Henderson.

They say the pills containing fentanyl were configured to make a user believe that they were a legally manufactured controlled substance.

The task force says no additional information will be released at this time.

The task force says they worked with the Henderson Police Department, Chester County Sheriff’s Office, and the Jackson Police Department during this case.
