Shooting Victims at East Pointe Apartments Recovering, Still No Arrests

JACKSON, Tenn.- Three days after a shooting in east Jackson that still has two people hospitalized, officers said still no witnesses have come forward. Late Friday night, officers said three young black men opened fire on a white mini-van, hitting the 24-year-old, one time. Police said his condition has prevented them from interviewing him. A 29-year-old mother, who was hit in her apartment by a stray bullet remained in stable condition. Investigators said dozens of spent shells were recovered from the east point apartments parking lot.
