Weather Update – 11:00 p.m. Monday

Skies will remain partly cloudy overnight with a few storms lingering into the early evening. Conditions will remain humid, keeping temperatures from dropping too far overnight. Overnight lows are forecast for the lower and middle 70s early Tuesday morning. There will be more storms, heat, and humidity to come for the next couple of days before a cold front arrives later this week.

TUESDAY
During the later hours of the morning, showers and thunderstorms will return to West Tennessee. Storms will be scattered, so not everyone will get the heavy rain. However, where the heavy rain occurs, there could be localized flash flooding as these storms will not be moving very quickly. High temperatures are forecast to reach the upper 80s and lower 90s with the humidity making them feel like they’re close to or over 100°F at times.

REST OF THE WEEK
Wednesday will continue more of the same story – hot, humid, and partly cloudy with a chance for scattered thunderstorms. When the cold arrives later this week, it will drop down our chance for rain as well as the heat and humidity. Looks like we’ll be setting up for a more comfortable weekend than we had recently! Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the very latest updates to this forecast.

Have a good day!
