Rules for ‘West Tennessee Wave Contest’

Below is the news release from the Jackson Convention & Visitors Bureau about their West Tennessee Wave Contest.

West Tennessee Wave ContestLet’s See Your Miss Tennessee Pageant Wave!

The Miss Tennessee Pageant is taking place this week in Jackson, and we want to see how good your pageant wave is. If you have the best wave, we have a prize for you: four tickets to the finals on Saturday, a Visit Jackson TN gift bag and recognition from the stage of the pageant!

Whether you’re a cup-left-right-figure eight, or an elbow-elbow-wrist-wrist, we want to see your best!

Enter now by submitting your video to the Visit Jackson TN Facebook Page, and we will select a winner at noon on Friday, June 17, 2016!

How to Enter:

Go to the Visit Jackson TN Facebook page.
Post the video to the page with the hashtag #westtnwave in the description.
Videos will be judged by a team of expert wavers.
Videos must be less than 30 seconds in length.

DO:

Creativity (show us how creative you can get with costumes and locations, but please do not do anything dangerous)
WOW Factor (does your submission wow us?)
Form (and, of course, how well you execute the wave)
Family Friendly

DON’T (Video Must Not):

Contain explicit material
Endanger the recorder or participant
Contain any copyrighted material (including music)
Contain any hate speech
Be filmed without permission of the subject
Rules:

One entry per person.
An entry is a video submitted on the Visit Jackson TN Facebook page.
Contestants must be a resident of Tennessee.
Judges retain the right to remove any entry from the contest at will.
Use the hashtag #westtnwave.
Submissions are due by noon on Friday, June 17.
By submitting the video, you are agreeing to the terms:

If a minor submits the video, a parent or guardian has approved your submission of the video.
Contest entries are subject to a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, print, display, reproduce, modify, publish, post, transmit and distribute the photo/video and any material included in such video on the internet, on television, and in, on, or through all other media.
Submissions are due by noon on Friday, June 17.
Winners will be selected by a committee and winners will be notified by Facebook. Winners will have 3 hours to confirm their prize receipt or another winner will be selected.
This contest is not associated with Facebook, and you are providing the videos to the Jackson Convention and Visitors Bureau.
