Case dismissed for 2nd man charged in Memorial Day shooting
JACKSON, Tenn. — The second of two men charged in a Memorial Day shooting in Jackson saw his charges dismissed during a Thursday hearing.
Tychicus Randle’s case was dismissed because a witness was not cooperating.
The 28-year-old victim who was shot in the abdomen told police a man later identified as Randle knocked at his door and told him someone needed to speak to him. When the victim went outside he was reportedly shot by another man.
The man accused of pulling the trigger was initially charged with attempted murder, but that charge also has been dropped.
