Shooting in east Jackson ruled accidental
JACKSON, Tenn. — A scare as gunfire rang out at the Parkway East Apartments, Monday evening.
However, police on the scene along Roosevelt Parkway said the shooting was nothing criminal rather an accidental shooting.
Investigators said the man unintentionally shot himself in the lower part of his body.
He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
Officers on the scene said they expect him to fully recover.
