Former Lady Vols basketball coach Pat Summitt dies at age 64

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. –Pat Summitt, the winningest coach in Division I College Basketball history who helped boost the women’s game to the big time in a 38-year career at Tennessee, died Tuesday morning at age 64.
Summitt led the Lady Vols to 8 National Championships and retired in 20-12.
Her son, Tyler Summitt, issued a statement this morning saying that she died peacefully at a retirement community in Knoxville.
