Woman accused of embezzling from management companies
BILOXI, Miss. (AP) – Police say a 59-year-old Biloxi woman is accused of embezzling more than $60,000 from two companies where she worked.
The Sun Herald reports Susan Kim Moore, of D’Iberville, was arrested Monday on a charge of embezzlement of greater than $25,000.
In May, police say A.H. Lank Patterson Co. Inc. and Patterson Apartments, which are sister companies, filed a report with Biloxi police alleging that an employee, identified as Moore, was taking money from both companies.
An investigation found more than $60,000 worth of fraudulent transactions were made over the past two years.
Moore was taken to Harrison County jail and her bond was set at $50,000 by Judge Albert Fountain.
Online jail records do not list an attorney for her.
