“His bond will be revoked,” Madison County Circuit Court Judge Don Allen said in court Monday. “He’ll be held without bond.”

Attorney Mark Donahoe represents Kim. “Andy has not made bond on the latest arrest on one of the cases, and he was incarcerated anyway,” Donahoe said.

Prosecutors moved to revoke Kim’s bond after an arrest in June. He is accused of stealing from Dick’s Sporting Goods while out on bond. “We didn’t oppose today’s motion,” Donahoe said.

Court documents said Kim stole thousands of dollars worth of items from Coffman’s Home Furnishings in April. He is also charged with breaking into Outdoors Inc. on Vann Drive in January and stealing about $2,000 worth of merchandise.andykim

Kim’s case now heads to the grand jury, which is scheduled to meet in August.

“The state’s obligation to present discovery materials has not yet matured,” Donahoe said. “Since they don’t have to give us all the information yet, it’s hard to evaluate the case specifically.”

Kim is scheduled to return to court Aug. 8.

He also faces charges in Shelby County for similar crimes.
