South Side fall preview

JACKSON, Tenn — The South Side football program got off to a hot start last season, winning their first five games. The second half didn’t end so well. The team lost their last five, missing a shot at the playoffs. This year the team welcomes 11 new players from Madison, North Side and JCM. Coach Brian Moore thinks their will definitely be an adjustment phase.

“I hope so, of course we have to see how well we can gel you know,” Moore said.  “Because these kids have been taught the past couple of years to rival South Side, and now you’re asking them to wear the same colors, hang out with the same guys, same locker room, same school, we got to make sure they can make that adjustment.”

The Hawks will look to finish a lot stronger than they did last season, starting with Obion County week one.
