Authorities respond to truck fire at BlueOval site
STANTON, Tenn. — A local fire department responds to the construction site of BlueOval City.

The Brownsville/Haywood County Fire Department says around 4:15 Tuesday afternoon, they, along with the Stanton Volunteer Fire Department, received a call to BlueOval City.
The department says upon arrival, a service truck was found to be on fire. According to the department, the truck was equipped with tanks containing several hundred gallons of diesel, gasoline, engine oil and hydraulic fluid.
The Brownsville/Haywood County Fire Department says their new foam trailer, recently donated by the Tennessee Valley Authority, was dispatched to the scene.
According to the department, the fire was brought under control in around two hours.
At this time, we have received no reports of injuries.
BlueOval City is expected to begin operations in 2025.
