GALLERY: Transitional care workers create pumpkin display for patients, visitors to enjoy

JACKSON, Tennessee — Staff at one local facility are getting into the Halloween spirit ahead of an upcoming event.

AHC West Tennessee Transitional Care workers kicked off their annual Trunk or Treat with a pumpkin decorating contest.

According to Activity Director Shelia Willis, employees showed off their creative sides by creating over 30 displayed pumpkins for patients, families and visitors to enjoy.

The display will remain through October 24, when the facility holds its annual Trunk or Treat event, which served 400-500 last year. This year, there will be a concession stand manned by Rehab America Therapists, with all proceeds being donated to Alzheimer’s Tennessee Jackson Walk.

AHC West Tennessee Transitional Care’s Trunk or Treat will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24. Along with candy, there will also be face painting, a bounce house, touch-a-truck, and more.

The address is 597 West Forest Avenue in Jackson.
