Weather Update: 8:30 PM Monday
Currently scattered showers have come to and end across the area. Tonight things should remain calm. Current temps are in the low 70s to the low mid 80s. Skies are still partly to mostly cloudy across the area.
Heat Advisories are in effect until Tuesday evening with the feel like conditions reaching between 105-110 degrees. Actual temperatures this week will continue to climb so it is likely that the advisory is extended in coverage and time.
Tonight, partly cloudy skies are expected with a slight chance for an overnight shower. Temps fall into the low to mid 70s and we stick with the muggy conditions.
Tuesday, again it’ll be another hot one out there. Building heat out west starts to creep into the West Tennessee area and this is going to warm us up even more over the next few days. The stationary frontal system that has brought the rain chances the last few days is now lifting and this is bringing back the heat from the south, southwest and even more moisture. Chances for scattered afternoon showers remain in the forecast every day this week and we stay in the 90s even into early next week.
