Seminar at local church to focus on Marxism
JACKSON, Tenn. – A local event is addressing a divisive political philosophy.

The Marxism in America seminar is happening Friday, October 27 6:30 p.m.
The event is at Poplar Heights Baptist Church and is organized in part by Gideon’s Army Prayer Group.
This is the second year of this event with the last one occurring at Green Frog in Crockett County.
Marxism is an ideology started by Karl Marx, and organizers claim that it creates and promotes an attack on morality.
It will discuss how the ideology goes by another name here in America and how Marxism can be an attack on both history and family.
“The main purpose of our seminar is to educate people about what Marxism is because most people, they’ve heard about it but they don’t know really what it, how it’s influencing our country today,” said John D. Freeman, a physician.
Don’t miss this event if you want to hear speakers Clayburn Peoples and John D. Freeman explain more.
