Air Evac Lifeteam celebrates 25 years of service

JACKSON, Tenn. – Air Evac Lifeteam celebrated 25 years of service to the City of Jackson.

A reception took place at the hangar, located at 54 Medical Center Drive, for current team members and base alumni to celebrate.

Guests were also invited from local EMS and healthcare agencies.

The company started in 1985 and this was the seventh aircraft in the company and the first one in Tennessee.

Now there are more than 150 bases in more than 18 states. Attendees included team members, both past and present.

“I’m very passionate about this job. I work with friends and and it’s truly a great group that’s out here serving with passion and providing safe transport to those in need,” said Jon Wood, Program Director, Air Evac Lifeteam 7.

The air evac life team says they’re grateful for the entire community of Jackson, from hospitals to fire departments to law enforcement.
