Police: Suspect rapes 18-year-old nanny caring for twins
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Police in Nashville are searching for a man they say raped an 18-year-old nanny while she was caring for 3-year-old twins.
Nashville Metro police tell news outlets in a statement that the incident happened Thursday afternoon at Hamilton Creek Recreation Center.
Police say the woman was with the children near the swing set when she noticed a suspicious man in a black car.
She left the swings with the twins and went to a BMX bicycle track. Police say the suspect followed and attacked the woman.
During the attack, the victim fought the man and lost a tooth in the process. She also told the children to run.
The suspect fled in the vehicle.
