Crafters raise money for a great cause
JACKSON, Tenn.—Tis the season to make crafts for one community.
The Jackson Center for Independent Living hosted local crafters to come and sell their artwork.
This was an opportunity for JCIL to raise funds to help their clients.
Vendors donated crafts for the door prize and all proceeds were donated to the JCIL organization.
Guests could enjoy live entertainment, food trucks, and kids could get their faces painted.
“Events like this are so important for the community, for our consumers, for people with disabilities, bringing everybody together and we’re just always so glad to be included,” said Beth James, Executive Director, Jackson Center for Independent Living.
Santa was also there taking pictures with the children.
