Emma Lou McCoy

Emma Lou McCoy, age 81 of Milan, passed away on November 6, 2023 in Jackson.

Emma was born on June 6, 1942 in Combs, KY. Her parents passed away when she was an infant and she was raised in a Children’s Home in Kentucky. Due to that experience, she grew to be a mother figure to everyone she came across.

She is survived by her husband of over forty years, Ronald Joe McCoy; and so many loving family members that we couldn’t possibly list them all.

Pallbearers to serve will be Mike Doolin, William Hudson, Joe Schwoob, Tommy Williams, and Ross Frazier.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with burial in Highland Memorial Gardens.
