Larry Paul Maness

Larry Paul Maness, age 68, a resident of Brownsville, TN, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023. Memorial Services to remember and celebrate his life will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 3:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.  A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour before the service beginning at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 17, 2023, at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home.

He was born on July 16, 1955, in Lawrenceburg, TN to John and Lila Maness. He will long be remembered as a good father and a hard worker.  He loved hunting and fishing and enjoyed taking pictures. He worked for many years for EZ Soil in Brownsville, TN.

He is survived by his son, Mark Maness (Pam) of Mason City, IA; his daughter, Jennifer Maness of Memphis, TN; one brother, Donald Ray Maness, Sr. (Jeanie); one sister, Patty Ann Foster; six grandchildren, Ben Bobo, Jr., Paulanna Maness, Paul Gaines, Jr., Anthony Gaines, Antwon Gaines, and Makiya Rinks, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley Maness and Lila Russell Maness; two brothers, Carroll Maness and Clellon Maness.
