Budget amendments proposed in special-called City Council meeting
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson City Council met for a special-called meeting at City Hall Tuesday morning.

At 8:30, the Council met in the George A. Smith Meeting Room to call to order and discuss the agenda.
After the invocation and pledge of allegiance, Mayor Scott Conger had roll call and the first reading.

They proposed two budget amendments for the solid waste fund and a proposed budget amendment for the capital outlay fund.

1. Proposed Budget Amendment-Solid Waste Fund, Burned Tipper Replacement $325,128.00
SECOND READING
1. Proposed Budget Amendment-Solid Waste Fund, Tipper $76,000.00
2. Proposed Budget Amendment-Capital Outlay Fund, Pressure Washing Equipment $89,012.50
With all members present, each motion passed 9-0.
