Thanksgiving dinner provided to community
BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. – Wednesday, a Thanksgiving dinner for the community was held at the Brownsville Family Restaurant on East Main Street.
This annual event has been happening for over a decade and provides meals for around 600 people.
Organizers expressed the importance of bringing people together.
“A lot of people won’t get a Thanksgiving dinner for Thanksgiving, and I think this is a good time to give them Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey and all of the trimmings with it. And it’s a happy day for me,” said Carolyn Reed, the owner of the Brownsville Family Restaurant.
The food and fellowship went well and Reed thanks god for everything.
