One community, one table, one very special meal
MILAN, Tenn.—A local town showed their appreciation this holiday season by filling many bellies.
The 6th annual One Table event took place in Milan.
This was a free event to show their appreciation for the community.
The food was catered by Food Giant in Medina and dessert was provided by Milan Mustard Seed.
This also allowed residents to take a seat and fellowship with people they may not regularly see.
“You come and have a meal and you sit down with somebody that you don’t see every day. You may sit down by a neighbor that you don’t even know, that lives by you or someone that you haven’t seen in 5 or 6 years, and I think that’s the fun of this event, everyone coming together and enjoying a meal together,” said Allyson Harris, City of Milan and Community Development.
This event is held Saturday every year before Thanksgiving.
