1 dead, 2 hurt in shooting outside Louisville birthday party
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) – Louisville police say a woman is dead and two people are injured after a shooting outside a birthday party.
Lt. Todd Kessinger told reporters the three victims were outside a home Tuesday night where the party was going on when they were struck by gunfire.
All three were taken to a hospital, where local media report a woman was pronounced dead. One of the other victims is in critical condition.
Kessinger says police aren’t sure whether the suspect or suspects approached on foot or in a car. Police are interviewing witnesses.
