Church gives away free Thanksgiving meals
BELLS, Tenn. – Members of Knee Temple Church in Bells gave 100 meals away Tuesday at noon, working with “Feed the Needy.”
The church provided family Thanksgiving meals from turkey to pie. The whole nine yards. It’s their fourth year serving in this way.
“This is something from the pulpit to the pew that we try to meet the needs of the people. And at this time of the year, when sometimes people fall short of a meal, we, as God’s people, want to be able to supply that,” said Arthur Brown, the Pastor of Knee Temple Church.
Pastor Brown says he is grateful to God for his provision and for the joy in the hearts of those involved in this event.
