THP to hold open house on November 28
JACKSON, Tenn. – The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be having an open house and recruitment event at their new headquarters on Smith Lane.
Guests are welcomed to bring their children and are not required to bring a resume.
This is an opportunity for those who are interested in this career field to ask any questions.
There will be free food and a driving simulation for guests to enjoy.
“You need to have a relatively good background, a high school diploma, and the main thing is a willingness. And an eagerness to learn a new exciting career is the main requirement we are looking for,” said Sgt. Charles Childres, with the THP.
This open house is not a requirement for those that are interested in this job. However, a valid license is required.
The exact address is 336 Smith Lane in Jackson. The open house will be November 28 at 5 p.m.
