Tree of Warmth returns to downtown Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Help residents in the Hub City stay warm this winter who might not have the means to purchase winter items.

The Ned is now accepting donations for the “Tree of Warmth.”

Some of these items include hats, gloves, socks, and scarves.

This is a tradition The Ned has been doing for residents in Jackson to keep warm during the colder months for more than seven years.

As the warm items are taken off of the tree to be used, new ones will be replenished over the next few months.

“It’s a kind thing to do,” said Jordan Alexander, The Ned’s creative services manager. “There are people who need help who need to be able to keep warm, who have to be out and don’t have another option and so that just gives them something that they can do to keep warm and stay safe.”

You can drop off new or used items to The Ned offices from 8:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon, Monday through Friday.

The Ned is located at 314 East Main Street in Jackson.
