JACKSON, Tenn.–A local neighborhood lights up the night for residents to see.

Residents of the Lambuth Area Neighborhood Association, also known as LANA lights Campbell Lake each year to mark the weekend of “Christmas in LANA.” During this weekend, guests are able to check out the lights, tour the homes, and have a luncheon with residents.

The Lambuth Neighborhood  is one of the oldest in Jackson, and it is important to residents who say they are able to share this moment with one another.

The annual holiday celebration has been a tradition for more than 30 years.

“This is just a group of volunteers who love the neighborhood. Some of us have lived here all of our whole lives and some of us are new. But it’s just a charming and welcoming place and we all love it. And so I’m just excited for other people to come and see it as well,” said Katie Garcia, chair of the LANA Holiday Home Tour.

This weekend’s long celebration is open to the public. The LANA Holiday Home Tour will continue through Sunday, December 3, at 5 in the afternoon.
