A special musical performance brings holiday cheer to Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.—Grab your family, grab your popcorn and get ready to sing along to the melody.

The Jackson Symphony presented its Holiday Pops concert.

This was a family matinee that featured festive favorites and sing-along melodies.

Each child present had the opportunity to conduct the orchestra.

The Holiday Pops featured Ballet Arts, the Jackson Choral Society, the UT Martin Choir and Soloist, Carol Oldfather.

A full Holiday Pops concert will take place Saturday evening at 7:30 pm.

“We love presenting to children because this is how they learn what orchestra music is all about. And they get to see live orchestra music,” said Tracey King, Director of Marketing of Jackson Symphony.

Holiday Pops thanks some of their sponsors, such as the Jackson Clinic, Jackson Energy Authority, Coca-Cola, Cadence Bank and Commercial Bank & Trust.
