Henry County deputy injured in wreck on duty
HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — A local deputy was injured in a wreck while responding to an incident.
According to Henry County Sheriff Josh Frey, Deputy Chad Andrews responded to a call of a possible home invasion in Henry County on Saturday.
Sheriff Frey says while responding, Deputy Andrews traveled off the highway in a curve on Highway 140 South.
Frey confirms Deputy Andrews’ vehicle struck a tree, and he was transported to the Henry County Medical Center, before later being transferred to Vanderbilt Medical Center.
On Monday, Sheriff Frey shared that Andrews remains at Vanderbilt in stable condition.
