Pair accused of stealing lawnmower from Wal-Mart

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the theft of a lawnmower from Wal-Mart.

Police identified Athena Bonfa and Michael Curtis after they allegedly stole the lawnmower.

Wal-Mart employees said they saw the pair remove the lawnmower and then flee in their car when they asked them to stop.

The theft happened in May.

Both are in custody in lieu of a $5,000 bond each.
