Jackson-Madison Co. General Hospital honors Ayers Foundation

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson-Madison County General Hospital set up a nice surprise Thursday for some charitable donors and the namesake of Ayers Children’s Medical Center.

Jim and Janet Ayers were honored with a surprise thank-you party at the hospital. The event was in recognition of the work the couple have done for various local health care charities.

Janet Ayers says they enjoy giving back to the community. “For Jim and I, it’s just a partnership of love, and it’s such a natural place for us to be able to give back together.”

The party coincided with the 10-year anniversary of the Ayers Children’s Medical Center.

The couple was presented with a book to commemorate their work.
