LIFT hosts employer health & wellness forum

JACKSON, Tenn. — Local companies learn how to implement health and wellness in the workplace.

West Tennessee Healthcare hosted an employer forum Friday at the LIFT Wellness Center.

Workers from across the region learned about current health trends in the workplace. Speakers also touched on how to increase participation within health and wellness programs.

“We recognize the benefit of a healthy and well-trained workforce and we want to support that in our region,” Executive Vice President of West Tennessee Healthcare Dr. Lisa Piercey said.

Friday’s forum also included advice from a local attorney about how to stay compliant while implementing a wellness program.
