Dream Center families receive Christmas gift donation
JACKSON, Tenn.– One local nonprofit receives an annual gift from their favorite Santa’s helpers.
The Dream Center received their third annual gift donations from Censor Motivation Car Club right here in the Hub City.
Families of the Dream Center wrote their Christmas lists to Santa helpers for a very special Christmas.
For the last three years this group has bought Christmas gifts for children.
This has been something that members of Censor Motivation Car Club say they enjoy doing.
“We all try to give back to the community because us growing up we didn’t it wasn’t really a whole lot like that going on. So we decided ‘hey that’s something that we would like to see come to the community so that’s why teamed up with the Dream Center,” Latavious Brown, member of Censor Motivation Car Club says.
This was important to leaders of the Dream Center because this helps families get into the holiday season and allows them to feel loved.
“It felt good to see them happy you know. I’m blessed to even be here, to be honest to be receiving what we received for the kids,” Andrea Haur says.
Also for other moms they were filled with happy tears to see their children loved and cared for.
“A lot of the moms who can usually keep it really cool, I saw some tears drop tonight. They just hugged us and said thank you so much. And so it we just wanna say thank you to our entire community that has been so wonderful to the Dream Center of Jackson,” Stephanie Laffoon, Capital Campaign Manager for the Dream Center, shares.
