Felix Robertson

Felix Robertson, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023, at his residence in Brownsville, TN.  He was 70 years old at the time of passing. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 1:00 PM at the Brownsville Funeral Home with the burial to follow at Brownsville Memorial Gardens.  Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Brownsville Funeral Home.

Felix was born on April 27, 1953, in Humboldt, TN to Joe Allen Robertson, Sr. and Robbie Felice Sherrod Robertson. He worked for the State of Tennessee Forestry Department as a forest firefighter. He loved to hunt, he loved his family, and he was a good husband to Janet. Janet stated that “Felix has gained his wings and was the love of her life.  God had him first and gave him to her. She was so thankful to God for his blessings! His favorite verse of scripture was 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janet Sweat Robertson; daughter, Penny Sweat Walker; brother, Joe Allen Robertson and sister, Joyce Marie Robertson, all of Brownsville, TN. He leaves a legacy of love for his two grandchildren, Ryan Walker and Everett Cain.  He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Allen Robertson, Sr. and his mother, Robbie Felice Sherrod Robertson.

Pallbearers for the service are Travis Morris, Ryan Walker, Richard Sweat, Bradley Harwell, Ricky Sweat, and Charles Sweat.

Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice. The immediate family is so thankful to all the numerous family members and to AseraCare Hospice for their excellent care for Felix during recent months.
