Lexington Police seek suspects in armed robberies at Family Dollar, vape shop
UPDATE (12/29/23): Jackson Police announce arrests of suspects in multiple armed robberies
LEXINGTON, Tenn. — Two suspects are being sought in connection to armed robberies at businesses in Lexington.
Lexington Police Chief Jeff Middleton confirms an investigation is underway following the Monday evening robberies of Family Dollar and I-40 Vape Shop.
Middleton shared that the department received a call regarding Family Dollar around 9:25 p.m., while a call was later received from I-40 Vape Shop around 9:35 p.m.
According to Middleton, in both robberies, two black males, wearing dark clothing and armed with handguns, entered the businesses and stole an undetermined amount of money.
It’s believed that the same suspects are responsible for both robberies, and Middleton confirms no one has been arrested at this time.
