Jury Duty Scam Alert
JACKSON, Tenn.—According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, there is resurgence of phone call scams that is targeting Madison County.
The office took to social media to alert the public about a phone scam where the caller is claiming to be a member of law enforcement and is demanding money. The scammers are claiming that you missed jury duty. The scammers are also claiming that you need to pay a fee to zoom call with the judge.

Madison County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind people that they will never call you and demand payment over the phone. If you receive a call demanding money for any alleged court matters, hang up the phone immediately and call (731) 423-6000 to report the incident.
