JACKSON, Tenn. – New Year’s Eve can be a celebration for all ages, young and old. So we have a few ideas to help your planning go much easier.
Ritz Magic Wheels on the Highway 45 Bypass will have their annual balloon drop for ages 12 and under and another balloon drop for ages 13 and up following that celebration until midnight.
Children can take home goodie bags filled with New Year-themed items.
The Family Fun Center off of Old Humboldt Road will have a party for bowlers. This will begin at 11 p.m. New Year’s Eve until 2 a.m. New Year’s morning.
Guests can purchase lanes before the night, and there will be prizes throughout the night for guests.
For adults, there will be a party at the Hub City Brewing supporting the Habitat for Humanity of Jackson.
The party will begin at 9 p.m. and guests are encouraged to dress like they are in the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s decades.
“We have families that we partner with to build the homes with them. They work and get sweat equity hours building the house. They also get hours working on financial education, education on what it’s like to be a homeowner, and so we partner with those families,” said Linsey Sparks,
The Blazin Sands Entertainment will have its New Year’s Eve celebration beginning at 9 p.m.
There will be prizes for best dressed as well as door prizes. Another event will be at the Floral Cakes and Bakery.
The party will begin at 9 p.m. New Year’s Eve with live music. Tickets can be purchased before the event.
The inaugural Blues and Soul Ball will have their event at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. There will be live entertainment and food vendors for ages 21 and up.
“So I’m expecting everybody to come in with their Sunday best. We’re having photographers there. We’ll have 360 machines there. I’m telling you, you want to be the person that stands out of the crowd. We’re asking everybody to come dressed in their best because this is the Blues and Soul Ball,” said Lamont Cunningham,
Also, starting at 9 p.m. Sunday, the DoubleTree Hotel will have a New Year’s Eve party featuring a midnight champagne toast, a DJ, a 360 photo booth, and more.
Plus, if guests book a room with the DoubleTree there is an option of adding a bottle of champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries.
Also on New Year’s Eve, Bar-Bees will be participating in a celebration at Madison Downs, with live entertainment by the Kimberlie Helton Band, music by DJ Leslie, and food catered by Basil and Bourbon.
