Man charged in deadly Jackson shooting headed to trial
JACKSON, Tenn. — A man charged in a deadly shooting outside a Jackson nightclub will go to trial next month.
Corbyn Davis appeared Monday in Madison County Circuit Court and declined to change his plea. The judge said he will go to trial Sept. 27.
Davis is accused of shooting Jamar Rogers in June 2014 on the parking lot of the Omni Center along the Highway 45 Bypass.
Davis is charged with first-degree murder and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
