Henderson Police: Armed robbery suspects located in Madison County

UPDATE (12/29/23): Jackson Police announce arrests of suspects in multiple armed robberies

On Wednesday, December 27th, at approx. 8:20 pm Officers with the Henderson Police Department were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery at Zippy’s, located on Hwy 45 North. Upon arrival it was determined that suspects had entered the store, armed with handguns and stole an undisclosed amount of cash

Officers quickly issued a broadcast that the suspect vehicle had left traveling north on Hwy 45, towards Jackson. Jackson Police Department and Madison County S.D. officers did locate a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle on Perry Switch Road in Madison County. After stopping the vehicle, it was determined the occupants were believed to be the alleged suspects involved in the robbery at Zippy’s.

Our Investigators are working with other agencies to determine if these alleged suspects could possibly be involved in other robberies that have been occurring in other jurisdictions, this is a very complex and ongoing investigationstated Chief Gary A. Davidson.
