Organization announced ‘adopt-a-senior’ program

JACKSON, Tenn. – A local organization is aiming to enhance the well-being of seniors who are housed in assisted living facilities and retirement homes.

Hub City Connect announced a new project called the Eldercare Harmony Initiative.

They are asking members of the community to nominate assisted living facilities and retirement homes in the area.

The organization will adopt this facility, providing community support, engagement, and basic care products.

The goal of this initiative is to give every senior a life enriched with care, love, and meaningful connections.

“I want to let people know through my lifestyle not just through what my words say, but through my actions that we are here for you. So that’s through creating these programs,” said Deswick Bonds Jr., the Community Leader with Hub City Connect.
