Driver goes off road, onto railroad tracks on Rhea Street

JACKSON, Tenn. – Around 8 p.m. Friday evening on Rhea Street in east Jackson, a car drove off the road.

When our crews arrived we saw a sedan that appeared to have driven off the road, down an embankment, and onto a railroad track.

The Jackson Police Department, EMS, and a tow truck were present on scene.

We spoke with officers who told us the driver of the vehicle was alive and inside the ambulance.

Law enforcement says the driver may have a possible broken arm.
